About MUNOH

Model United Nations of Hamburg (MUNOH) is a conference in which students simulate the UN. It is organised by the students of the senior class “International Relations” of the Gymnasium Meiendorf in Hamburg, Germany. This year’s conference will be the ninth held at our school and it is led by the teachers Mrs Breckwoldt and Mrs Runge. In the nineties there had already been a conference at Gymnasium Meiendorf called MEIMUN but due to a change of teachers and students graduating, the tradition of MUN at our school was forgotten for a long time. After having attended several MUN conferences all over Europe, such as RIMUN, MUNOM and MUNOL between 2007 abd 2008, we decided to revive the tradition of hosting an MUN and organised our first MUNoH conference in Hamburg in 2009, which now takes place for the ninth time in 2017.
